Teen hurt in Conquerall Bank crash CONQUERALL BANK - A passenger "put his head through the back window" when the Plymouth Acclaim he was in crashed June 18.
The 17-year-old male passenger was assessed by paramedics, placed on a stretcher, and transported by ambulance to South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater. It was thought one passenger was thrown from the vehicle but that assumption proved to be untrue. "He put his head through the back window," said another male, dressed in shorts and a brown sweater and wearing a white baseball cap, who identified himself as the driver. Jonathan Pippy, South Shore operations supervisor for Emergency Health Services, who was on scene, later described to this newspaper that the passenger's injuries were considered minor in nature. The driver and another male passenger were not seriously hurt. Lunenburg County RCMP are investigating. Conquerall Bank firefighters also responded to the crash. The collision occurred around 9:45 a.m. on Highway 331, near the intersection of Conquerall Road. posted on 06/24/08 |
