Admits having cocaine, marijuana to sellby Lisa Brown COUNTY - Sentencing has been put off until late November for a Middle LaHave man who has admitted having drugs to sell.
Forty-seven-year-old Ivan Paul Carver was supposed to go to trial on a string of allegations September 29. Instead, he pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, producing marijuana, having unstamped and unmarked tobacco products and carelessly storing a loaded shotgun. Those charges all stem from a search of his home on the Grimm Road on April 23, 2007. Mr. Carver also pleaded guilty to a charge of breaching an undertaking by failing to notify authorities about a change of address in August. He'll be sentenced on November 24. posted on 10/07/08 |
