My home is in Nova Scotia, but for now I am living and working in a community 400 km north of the Arctic Circle. Close to part of the fabled NW passage routes, the community is on a small, horseshoe shaped island just off the coast of the Melville penninsula.
We had a blizzard on Thursday, having had our first snowfall on September 15th. Right now, it is -5C outside, colder with the wind, and there's enoough snow and ice for the snowmobiles to become active again.
I love reading the 'Bulletin' on line, and keeping track of my community and friends in Nova Scotia!!
I grew up in Voglers Cove so I enjoy reading the paper each week.
Hope you'll spend a moment leaving a message or two- we'd love to know where you are visiting from, what you like about the website, or if you like the South Shore (who wouldn't!)
Thanks!
