Gallery has new exhibit
A new exhibit has been mounted in the ShoreLine Gallery in the South Shore Regional Hospital (SSRH) for the month of February. The featured artists present interesting interpretations of similar subjects in different media.
Watercolourist Dennis Curran uses light and shadow to capture the beauty of land and sea. Many of his paintings are self-framed in rustic wood. Sharon Boyd presents a series of nautical subjects in bright, graphic oils.
In addition the works of several other local artists are displayed.
The gallery is sponsored by the SSRH auxiliary and is staffed by volunteers. The artists donate a portion of the proceeds to the auxiliary to be used in their ongoing fundraising projects.
