Welcome to South Shore Seniors, the on-line resource centre that's dedicated to serving the needs of our region's aging population.

There's no mistaking it — Lunenburg and Queens counties are getting older. Over the past decade, census information has indicated that not only are we are living longer, but that the baby boomer generation is steadily inching toward the golden years of retirement. All of which means, our region has a rapidly greying population.

As the average age of the South Shore's population rises, the demands for services and programs specifically designed for that aging population are going to increase as well.

That's why we've taken the time to create this unique and thorough on-line resource centre — to help ensure that our seniors and their caregivers and families have access to the best information and options that our region has to offer.
