The government is finding its way in creating a conducive environment for Nova Scotia; to attract investors, create more jobs, and the opportunity for its people to work anywhere and have a good life.
The release of Nova Scotia’s budget is the first step to recovery. Randy Delorey, who is the Finance Minister, has presented the plan on investing $480 million in major projects. Part of the funding is the building of a new school in Yarmouth. He also elaborated on the need for a high-speed internet installation in rural areas.
Furthermore, he believed that the internet displays a significant role in today’s economy. Thus, rural areas will have access to high-speed internet to open opportunities by connecting them worldwide.
